This policy explains what personal data e-motion point ("we") collects through this website and how we use it, in line with India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023.
What we collect
- Details you enter in our forms: name, mobile number, email (optional), city and address (for bookings), the vehicle you are interested in and your message.
- Basic technical data: IP address, the page you came from and campaign tags (for example from an ad link). We use these to stop spam and to understand which ads work.
Why we use it
- To call, WhatsApp or email you about your enquiry, test ride or booking.
- To process and confirm your booking and match your UPI payment.
- To keep records required by law (for example invoices and tax).
We do not sell your data. We do not send you marketing messages unless you ask us to.
Who we share it with
Only with those who need it to serve you: our staff, the vehicle manufacturer or financier (only when you buy or ask for finance), and the service providers that host our website, email and records (such as our web host and Google Sheets). They may use it only for our purposes.
How long we keep it
Enquiries and test ride requests are kept for up to 24 months. Booking and sales records are kept for as long as the law requires.
Your rights
You can ask us to see, correct or delete your data, or withdraw your consent, by contacting us using the details on our Contact page. We will respond within a reasonable time.
Cookies
We use only essential cookies that keep the website working (for example to remember your language and to protect our forms). We do not use advertising cookies.
